Frequently Asked Questions
Here are some Frequently Asked Questions that I get in e-mail and over AIM along with an answer. And YES, I have actually been asked some of these questions I won't say who by but I have been asked some pretty stupid ones and ones that actually make sense.
1. How do I do the css thing?
I have a tutorial for that kind of question. Go check it out there and then ask me questions if you still need help.
2. Can you make my website?
Heck no! I am too busy now with my sites I can't go around making your website. Sure, I'll make a layout if you need one, but I am not gonna add all the content and uplaod it to your server.
3. I'm a staff memeber and I wanna know where to find my stuff that I submited, where do I look?
Well, that's kind of a dumb question but, if you submited any sort of graphics it will be in that section. If you submited a tutorial or a review on a server then it will be in the Help section.
4. When will my request be done?
When I get to it. I'm usualy really busy with other requests or other more important things such as school but I will get to your request and once I do, It will be sent to you as well as added onto the site.
5. Can I use any of Starlight Designs's graphics?
If you mean by the stuff you'll find that you can download and view yes, as long as you link back. If you mean the graphics that are mine that give the look to Starlight Designs...HELL NO! I work hard to make the graphics for Starlight Designs, you may not take them and say they are yours.
6. Can I become a staff memeber?
Only if I'm acepting otherwise no.
7. Can I affiliate with Starlight Designs?
Only if your website is a graphics site or I invite you to be one.
8. Do you have any tutorials?
This question is just plain stupid. If you actually looked at the site you would be able to have seen the many tutorials that S-D has. All written by me, Kaze Kikotsu. So, yes, I have tutorials. Shall I make one for you to teach you how to look at a site before asking questions?
9. How long does it take you to make your layouts?
Very interesting question. To tell you the truth, though it may seem amazing to many, it takes me no longer than a few hours, no more than a day at the very most. And all layouts done for SD and my other sites take just as long.
10. What happen to the old Calendars?
They were deleted. The very first calendars that I ever made were really bad so I started to make monthly calendar wallpapers which were much better. But it was pointless to keep the old Monthy Calendar Walls up when the month had been passed. All they were doing was taking up space. So I deleted them so to get more stuff on the site.
11. "how do u put advatars in a neopets guild?? or can u just put he html code there?? or just put http://www. (and where the picture is)"
Um...first of all you might want to learn how to type, second of all, read my policies, third of all, I don't know anything about Neopets avatar options or their blog layouts either. Maybe one day I'll learn how to make them, anyway, I don't know how so don't ask! >_<
12. "How do I edit the layouts? I don't understand!?!?!?!"
......... Learn HTML then buy some common sense off ebay, they probably have it for a cheap price.
13. "Why haven't you responded to my graphic request/affiliate/sibling/link exchange?"
Either I didn't get it, or I rejected your site or to do your graphic request. Another reason might be because you didn't sign my guestbook. That is a requirement for becoming an affiliate, sibling, or link exchange. Or, I could just be really busy and haven't gotten to your e-mail yet.
